Description
A study of the sociological problems in organizations, including topics such as supervision, labor relations, motivation, delegation, communications, decisionmaking techniques, and a review of policies and legislation affecting labor/management relations.

- Define the term Human Resource Management and list the key functions and responsibilities of the Human Resources department
- Apply Human Resource Management theory and concepts to solving managerial business problems
- Analyze the use of, or lack of, basic Human Resource Management principles related to specific business situations
- Explain the ways governmental bodies regulate equal employment opportunity and workplace safety and health
