Description
This course is designed to prepare students for a college-level Statistics class. Topics include basic mathematical calculations with fractions, decimals, and percents. There will be an emphasis on data collection, descriptive statistics, basic probability, and the use of the TI-83-84 graphing calculator.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Perform basic operations with fractions, decimals, and percents, order of operations, and evaluate algebraic expressions
- Read and interpret tables and graphs
- Construct tables and graphs from a data set
- Calculate probability of certain events

Successful completion of MA 090 or Multiple Measures Placement
