SUNY ASAP

SUNY Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) is a student success program that provides academic, financial, and personal support to help students complete an associate degree.

At Columbia-Greene Community College, SUNY ASAP offers academic advising, tutoring, career services, and financial assistance for eligible educational expenses, including textbooks, transportation, and other approved costs.

To be eligible for SUNY ASAP, students must:

  • Be eligible for in-state tuition;
  • Complete the FAFSA and TAP application, or meet alternate New York State aid eligibility requirements;
  • Receive at least $1 in federal Pell Grant or New York State grant aid;
  • Enroll full-time (12 or more credits each semester);
  • Have earned no more than 21 college credits, excluding credits earned while in high school;
  • Be enrolled in an eligible associate degree program; and
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. Students eligible under the New York State DREAM Act may also qualify.

Students enrolled in SUNY ASAP are expected to maintain full-time enrollment, meet regularly with their advisor, participate in required program activities, and remain in good academic standing.
